To the Lokean below me....if you read this I have an idea as to why an eclipse would be scared to Loki. I belive it represents the relationship between Loki and Sigyn. Loki is undoubtedly the sun. Sigyn is the heavenly, fair Moon who remands ever faithful to her Sun. The two are bound to each other in a complex, eternal grasp. Sometimes the relationship between Loki and Sigyn, is unbalanced. But every once in a while, the Earth sees these two bodies, the Earth and Moon, or Loki and Sigyn interconnected in perfect harmony. Its an event so profound and so rare that everyone who witnesses stares in awe. Hope this idea helps. :)
