Even though it's true that I invited you to help the Vikings against the Saints, right after I had invited you to help the Crimson Tide against Georgia (well, you DID tell me you like football, after all) you know in your heart that I try really hard never to treat you like I think you're a magic wand, the way most of the christians treat their gods. Your honor is on such a higher plane that I would never want to have that kind of relationship with you. And besides, Tiw, I feel so satisfied just being aware of you that I don't often feel like I lack much of anything. The only thing that I consistently seek of you is to please give me the courage and the wisdom to conduct myself in a way that enhances your honor, your power, your presence, your bliss.
But I have a situation now, and I want to talk to you about this.
You know that Tiwaz Press was organized to the honor of your name, but I feel like our business partnership is falling apart --- just as we are about to release our first book. What's going on, Lord Tyr? What do I need to do? I invite you to show me how to react to this crisis.
My partners are enormously talented, and they're men of honor and integrity. I love working with them. But, they can get to be-- what I see as-- really lethargic, which isn't working now that we're under a deadline. I don't understand why they are just collapsing. Ok, so you're suggesting that I should first assume that they have come under spiritual attack? Okay, acting on that then, I'll work with you on the counterattack and the shielding operations for them. We've done that kind of thing before, and I know that is always just as satisfying to you as it is to me. But, I would like to say that if what they want in their own true hearts is to take control of the partnership themselves, then I will withdraw, and I'll invite you to continue to bless their efforts. On, the other hand, Tyr, if they want to dissolve the partnership and shut the business down, then I will start over without them. I'll follow the example of Trondur i Gotu when his pagan friends just couldn't hear his warnings, and he vowed to draw the sword and fight alone if that's what he had to do. Help us resolve this impasse, and I promise you, beloved Tyr--whatever it takes--that with your hand upon it, there will stand a publishing house that is established to the honor of your name.
