Tyr, please help
Hail Tyr, Lord of swords, justice and sacrifice. I have sacrificed much of my youth, friendships, and family relationships on a journey for knowledge with Odin, now that I am at that journeys end, and time has passed, I now call upon Tyr mighty and strong to help me have the confidence, integrity, and perserverence to find balance and my way out of this living situation where i am in anothers control. Lend me your sword to cut the bonds, lend me your wisdom to persevere and make bold actions. No longer am I the observer, the learner, now I am the warrior. I need to forge my place in the world, and gain the correct employment for my ambitious integrity. Lend me your strength, and rationale. As a scientist, I can no longer stand by and let others car before or for me. This is my time to shine. This is my path and i must walk it with my losses, and my victories.
For this, I will pledge myself, my body, which during my studies has grown soft and weak, while my intellect grew strong. I pledge my endurance and fortitude to gain self mastery and discipline, which I lack. I pledge these offerings to you, god of law, god of war. I know the travels that have made me wise have served me well, and all my sacrifices I willingly gave to gain knowledge, now I am ready to sacrifice in a new way to find my new steps towards employment, my place in society and my community, and no longer be a bystander but to take action. To cut through the invisible bonds that keep me, and to gain independence. No longer the hermit, I am now ready, transforming over the last six months to the warrior phase of my life.
Tonight I offer Apple wine, herbs, and stones in your honor as I carve an amulet in your bindrune. Watch me and hold me close as I need the fortitude to complete this task though it is discouraging
