My beloved Lord Tyr,Master of Honour and Champion of the Sword :
You, who always know, which man is honest and which bears guilt- on this day, Your day, please hear my voice, as I call to You.
I adore You,the Mighty Lord of the Glorious Battle,who is named "One Handed and NorthStar ".
I thank You,Wise Paragon, for teaching us to honour our duties and stand before enemies without fear.
I adore You,Ancient One,Sig Tyr, for guiding us through the mists of darkness with Your radiant star.
I love You, Honourable Foster Father and Friend of the Great Wolf, for bestowing us courage to give all, no matter of the costs, when we are called serve both honour and need.
I bow my head in awe, my Gracious God of Sacrifice
and pay tribute at Your might.
You kept Your word and so we do.
You honoured Your oath and so we do.
You chose the path of lost and pain, when needed, and so we do.
May You watch over us , the ones who believe in You.
May Your blessings be bestoewd upon us,Your loyal kin.

You, who see our Wyrd and help us navigate the honorable path,
You, who give us the strength to endure the hardships of this world.
You, who help us find courage in fighting the battles that must be done, to face the enemies before us.
You, who grant us the bravery to do what is right despite the consequences.
Your example is our example.
Thank You, Asa Tyr, for Your Sacred Sword that cuts our paths.
Thank You , Sig Tyr, North Star, for being our Radiant Guide.
Thank You , Tiwaz ,for the justice that You provide for the weak.
I give You adoration and praise followed by a hail to Thee.
May great respect be given to You on Your day.
I offer You my blade and strength and
I shall follow You in battle and follow You in law.

For many, many years, I knew you only as the Spirit of Combat. You were just that "Courage and Fire and Confidence" that came upon me, without fail, in times of danger -- on me(!) of all people: shy, quiet, non-atheletic me. Oh, yes, I knew -- in my more self-honest moments -- that these powers where none of my own. But I accepted the glory and the triumph they brought me. And I reveled in the respect that men give to someone who can fight.
I didn't know who you were. Didn't know that the word Tuesday that I spoke all my life had immortalized your name, in spite of the changing of the religions, in spite of the changing of the language, in spite of the changing of the culture, the wordview, the lifestyle.
When you came to me with your name, and more than your name, with your personality, it was like falling in love for me. I could say I can't imagine life without you now. But the truth is, I NEVER WAS without you, even though I didn't know it at the time. In the church, in the synagogue, in the sweatlodge, you were always there for me. But I tell you now, that even if the day should come, oh Tyr, that I can no longer feel your presence in my daily life, the fundamental truth of what I have experienced with you will never change. What matters is, I have known you. Up close and personal. I know you, and because of this surpassing honor that has befallen me, that you let me know who you are when you remain so hidden to so many, I will always love you, and I will always uphold your values. This is my oath of fealty to you. It is the oath of my undying love for you. Hail TYR, Lord of Honor, Commander of the Warrior Path, Champion of the Just Cause, Defender of the Wild, Protector of me and my kin! Hail!
