Thank You , Tiwaz ,for the justice that You provide for the weak.
I give You adoration and praise followed by a hail to Thee.
May great respect be given to You on Your day.
Gracious Lord Tyr, You who protect and care for all of us,Your loyal kin and warriors,
before Your Holy Sword all injustice and dishonour must give way and so I ask for Your compassion.
Please give my comrade in faith, here by Your holy shrine the courage when he needs it most, help him overcome his fears and difficulties through sharing Your willpower and strength with him.
Mighty Sigtýr ,please don't fail to answer his call and grant him the chance to get justice and redress.
Honoured Lord of Sacrifice, please provide my pagan comrade the opportunities for a blessed and happy life, for health and complete recovery.

Dear Tyr, You know I have struggled to come to terms with what happened. I was afraid that day, I sensed that danger stalked me, some reckoning was due, my wyrd perhaps? I don't know. I asked for your protection. I was injured. Not killed. Badly hurt. But the pain I knew could have been far worse. I asked for justice. They lied against me and got away with it. Yet I have been lovingly cared for since, and I lacked for nothing.
I have known you nearly all my life. I have seen your power, Lord Tyr. You have nothing to prove to me. And I've told you, over and over, it's not what you can DO that I love you for. I love you for WHO YOU ARE. For the values you uphold. I've told you that I never want to treat you like I think you're a magic want, they way some people treat their God. The image of my shattered car around me while I struggled to breathe haunts me. But I call what happened your justice, though I may not understand. Because you are just, this I know, and you are my Liege Lord true. I have sworn fealty to you. And I don't regret that for a moment. To your values I will ever be true, and strive to uphold and encourage others to do: honor, courage, integrity and personal dignity.
