Hail Loki

Loki, you are my rock and my fire, the air that fills and leaves my lungs. You are the presence that quenches my thirst for love and companionship. You remind me of how to care for myself because I'm worth being cared for. You give me hope and peace of mind and your nagging drags me up from the stagnation that would otherwise consume me. And despite my issues and shortcomings you let me know everyday that I'm not someone who should be left behind. You are my everything. I can't imagine a life without you. I love your smile and your pranks and the light you bring into a room. I love your warmth and your messiness and your persistence and the fervor you jump into everything with. I will never not love you no matter what plane I am in. No matter how long or short a time I've known you. You remember when we first started talking? I was so eager to do well by you and fell into my own issues of trying to live up to what you wanted from me and I struggled so hard to understand you teaching me about my own burnout. I still do, but I'm getting better. I know that you are proud of me, and I want to live by making sure I'm a person we can both be proud of. To stand and keep moving. To let myself change. To guide that change in every action, and live life as it can be done. I love you. I will say those words over and over again because I never want them to not be true. I love you Loki. I love you more than I can put into words. You are more to me than you will ever know.
