You are unforgotten, Great Mother. Your children, more and more of us, rally around you and defend you as best we can.
In my town, flowers have been planted, for the insects and their own sheer beauty, new trees will follow, replacing the ones that could not be kept standing, ones that have the best chances of growing old and strong. If circumstance allows, I will build an offering place there, open to all, to show you our appreciation, to demonstrate to others that the old ways are not dead, but have been reborn, changed in their expression, but with the same reverence for your beauty and bounty and for the harmony of all things living!
