Sweet Lady, forgive me. I have been ungrateful for your gift of love, those four days with the one who possesses my heart. it was simply a reminder of my own worth, and the power i have to let myself be loved if i so choose. as painful as it was, as lost as i feel, what a stunning gift it was. you teach me so much patience, in the face of another's jealousy. you teach me so much faith in the face of my love needing time to heal before we are together. i know and trust completely that however unpleasant, however melancholy, however tearful, any path you set ahead of me in life or in love, any lesson you teach, will bring me closer to my destiny and that through the pain of evolution i will grow to become someone great. you taught my Father well, fair Lady, just as you teach me. thank you so much for being the bosom i can return to in the wake of death. i live a better life with you in it.
