Protecting us during such a challenging time. For giving us loving, empathetic leaders like Mayor Lightfoot. For the wonderful, hardworking people keeping our stores stocked, our crucial businesses/utilities/hospitals running. Thank you for watching over them as they work around the clock, sacrificing time with their families. Thank you for the kindness of the people in the stores who are being reasonable and kind-it was surprising to see that given the panic that many are experiencing. I know in my heart of hearts that if we use love and bravery to guide us, you will walk at our sides, protecting the warriors wearing masks, picking our crop, stocking shelves, driving long distances to make sure we all have what we need. May your compassion and courage reflect in our actions as we love and support our neighbors.
