Hail Wotan,Wise and Knowing Allfather, Great King of Asgard!
Hail to You,Contributor of Inspiration!
Hail to Thee, who has lived in death.
Hail to Thee, who knows all mysteries.
On this day,the last of the old year and the beginning of a new year, I praise Your mighty deeds, Your power and might.
On this special day I give You honour and thanks for Your presence in my life.
Blessed be Your sacrifice in the name of wisdom,glory and honour to You.

Heil den Hohen, Götter unseres Landes und unserer Ahnen!
Ihr Götter, Hochheilige, in Asgard, in Vanaheim, in den heiligen Bergen und in den Grabhügeln!
Möge Euer Segen Midgard erfüllen, und mögen Eure Namen auf immer erinnert sein!
Und lohnt unsere Treue mit Treue.
So war’s bei den Ahnen, so sei es bei uns.

Today I raise my horn in honour of the Old Gods and good comrades, to what was once and to new goals.
May there be peace, hope and love in your world this now and always.
May AllFather and the Great Gods provide you all the oppurtinities for a blessed and happy life.
May the new year be the happiest of new years for all my honoured pagan comrades, who light a candle here by this Holy Shrines.

Hail to our Mighty Lord who moves among many worlds and many folk!
He who created Midgard from the fallen body of Ymir, He who hung from the World Tree, a sacrifice to Himself!
Your mysteries and wisdom span the ages, and Your many names sound reverently through all halls.
Thank You Fimbultýr , for the voices in the wind, the knowing in the blood.
Thank You Hangytyr , for the wisdom of the Runes and of the High One's Lay.
Thank You AllFather for giving me purpose and not leaving me wander in darkness.
May the memories of Your mighty deeds never be unforgotten in the mist of time.
May Your ravens guide me now and always.
May I forge ahead in courage, strength and perseverance.
May I walk the road that leads to You, for I'm still here, and give of myself without fear.
May the Great Gods live, reign, and rule for ages to come.

Thank you Odin, for showing me my path again and giving me the drive to start again. I know I am young and you are great and wise, I'm ever grateful for you revealing this path to help me overcome my trauma and grow again. May I continue to learn under your guidance. Hail Odin!

Thank you, Gangleri, for showing me a path where I could see none at all. Thank you, Alföðr, for my beautiful daughters, may they always walk in your steps. Thank you, Sigföðr, for giving me courage in adversity and wisdom in uncertainty. Hail Odin!

Hail Odin, Lord of Asgard,
Warrior and wanderer,
valiant and wise,
You to whom all the
gods of Asgard look,
Sky Father on the
eight-legged steed,
You who traded an eye for wisdom
And ruled a turbulent realm,
Give us the wisdom to accept
The twists and turns of
Fate even as you surrendered yourself
To the mercies of the Norns.
Protect us, All-Father,
From what harm may come
to us.
Lead us through the
wilderness
And bring us safely to
that great hall
That you reserve only
for the brave of spirit.
Please forgive my not lighting a candle yesterday.
Thank You for your gift of learning to accept that this is but a cycle and giving the courage to accept the twist and turns of my life as it is now!
