For Blessing Cider

Ideally the cider press should be set up in the orchard where Idunn is honoured. When the apples are pressed, hold the first glass of cider up to the sunlight and speak this blessing:

We drink your health, Idunn,

Of the hard-working hands,

We drink the health of all our friends

And of our spreading lands,

We drink the sun into ourselves,

For the health of every tree,

Golden as your apples

Of immortality.
