All honour and glory to you, Mistress of the Vanir, Wearer of Brisingamen, you who are confident in your own worth, Queen of Seidr and Knowledge Keeper. I have not had the fortune to work much with you yet, though I do you honour all the same. I approach you now not in love but in mourning, and humbly request that you who has known loss grant grace, compassion, and peace to those who currently mourn. You have felt loss, and therefore understand the pain of it. Lessen that pain until it is something we can bear, blunt the edge of it, and grant the souls of the deserving a place in your halls if you deem them worthy.
