I light this candle in honor of all those who have come before us. Those individuals who have paved the road with their blood and made sure that the road was safe to pass. I light a candle to my first ancestor, Wotan, that omnipresent being who continues to look upon us from Hildskjalf. Your Ravens,Hugin and Munin, will tell you that I am doing my best at all times, even when I fail. I light this candle to you great ancestor!
